Working Principle

Magnetic gratings are primarily designed to be installed in hoppers to capture ferrous matter from the material being processed. They can be manufactured in any size or shape, simply by placing them in a hopper to rest on the side, allowing the material to flow through a magnetic grid for rigorous filtration, commonly used in hoppers in the plastics industry.

In order to increase the capture rate, double-layer and three- layer or more magnetic grids can be manufactured. All magnetic grilles are manufactured with powerful rare earth magnets that can extract small iron particles such as rust. Single magnetic bar can also have their ends drilled and tapped according to your requirements.

Like most magnetic separators with an easy-to-clean system, the magnetic grid also has a pull-out sleeve for cleaning. The iron material on the surface will fall off spontaneously.

Structural Features:

• The magnetic grid is composed of magnetic rods, and the surface magnetic field strength can be above 1000-14000 Gauss.
• The surface is composed of SUS304, SUS316 or SUS316L stainless steel tubes welded, sealed and polished, which can be used to handle dry powder, wet or liquid materials.
• The surface is mirror polished, which can meet the requirements of food hygiene.
• Magnetic grids can be customized according to customer requirements, such as square or rectangular, round and or irregular shapes.
• The working temperature of conventional products is less than ≤ 80°C. According to specific application requirements, the temperature resistance can be 100°C, 120°C, 150°C, 180°C, 220°C, 250°C, etc., up to 350°C.
• Both ends of the magnetic grille can be made into threaded holes, screw rods, rings, conical tips, etc. as required, which is convenient for installation and fixation.
